About Oligopeptide-177
Oligopeptide-177 is a synthetic peptide composed of 33 amino acids with a repeating sequence of fragments of the erythropoietin (EPO) glycoprotein. The main function of EPO is to stimulate the production of erythrocytes (red blood cells), but it has other functions, including promoting tissue regeneration and cytoprotection (preventing apoptosis or cell self-destruction).
Oligopeptide-177 does not affect the hematopoiesis (blood cell production) process, but retains other beneficial functions required in modern skin care applications.
