About 10-Hydroxycamptothecin
10-Hydroxycamptothecin is derived from the fruits and leaves of the tree camptotheca acuminata Decne.
10-Hydroxycamptothecin is an alkaloid isolated from camptotheca acuminata Decne, which can inhibit the activity of topoisomerase I and has broad-spectrum antitumor activity.
10-Hydroxycamptothecin is a cell-permeable and potent inhibitor of DNA topoisomerase I. It selectively inhibits the phosphorylation of histones H1 and H3, but has less effect on other histones.
