About Azoxymethane
Azoxymethane, a colon carcinogen (mutagenic agent) that causes the formation of DNA adducts, has also been used with dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) to create cancer models in laboratory animals and can be used to study cancer progression and chemical mechanism of prevention.
