Gimeracil is an antitumor agent and a potent inhibitor of dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD).
Gimeracil is used as an adjunct to antineoplastic therapy. indicated for the treatment of adults with advanced gastric (stomach) cancer when given in combination with cisplatin.
