About Palmatine Chloride
Palmatine chloride is a protoberberine alkaloid that is isolated from medicinal herbs like Coptis chinensis Franch. Palmatine chloride is an inhibitor of dopamine generation. It also acts as a selective topoisomerase I and II position and as vasodilator that effectively reduces Ca2+ concentrations.
Palmatine chloride has the effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, anti-bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. Therefore it can relieve colon damage, prevent intestinal flora imbalance and regulate tryptophan catabolism, thereby improving DSS-induced colitis.
